This fettuccine bolognese is creamy, flavorful, and simply delicious!

First, sauté some onion, garlic, carrot, and celery for 2-3 minutes in a large pan over medium heat.

Next, add the ground beef and sauté until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Then add tomato paste and sauté again.

Now add red wine, beef broth, tomato passata, and bay leaves. Cover and let everything simmer for 20 minutes.

In the meantime, cook your pasta until al dente.

Take out the bay leaves. Add pasta water, heavy cream, and ground nutmeg. Stir until combined. Then add the pasta and toss.

Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!
