Spicy Shrimp Pasta

- 12 oz whole-wheat spaghetti
- 8.8 oz shrimps
- 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 chile
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes add more to taste
- 2 teaspoon paprika powder
- 2 cup(s) tomato passata
- salt and pepper
- parmesan optional
Cook the whole-wheat spaghetti according to the packet instructions.
Heat a pan with the olive oil using medium-high heat.
Wash and pat the shrimps dry. Cut the garlic and chile into small dices.
Add the shrimps to the pan and sear them for approx. 1 minute. Then, add the garlic and chile and sauté together for 1 minute.
Add the tomato passata, red chili flakes, paprika powder and salt and pepper to the pan. Heat the sauce up while occasionally stirring and then reduce to low heat.
Strain the whole-wheat spaghetti when finished cooking and add them to the pan. Mix everything.
Optional: Add some grated parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
