Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 ½ tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Honey Ginger Stir-Fry Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger

Other Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red chili pepper (optional) sliced or diced
  • 1 green onion sliced
  • sesame seeds (optional)
  • cornstarch slurry equal parts of water and cornstarch whisked together, use as needed

Instructions

  • First, add all chicken marinade ingredients to a bowl and toss until combined.

  • Whisk together the honey ginger stir-fry sauce in another mixing bowl.

  • Preheat some vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Then add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until browned.

  • Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces and stir-fry until the sauce thickens. Add some cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce as needed. To thin the sauce, add some water.
