Spicy Shrimp Pasta

This spicy shrimp pasta recipe is simply amazing! It is very quick and easy to make, but tastes absolutely delicious. Only a few basic ingredients and 30 minutes are needed to make this incredibly tasty and healthy pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz whole-wheat spaghetti
  • 8.8 oz shrimps
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 chile
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes add more to taste
  • 2 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 2 cup(s) tomato passata
  • salt and pepper
  • parmesan optional

Instructions

  • Cook the whole-wheat spaghetti according to the packet instructions.
  • Heat a pan with the olive oil using medium-high heat.
  • Wash and pat the shrimps dry. Cut the garlic and chile into small dices.
  • Add the shrimps to the pan and sear them for approx. 1 minute. Then, add the garlic and chile and sauté together for 1 minute.
  • Add the tomato passata, red chili flakes, paprika powder and salt and pepper to the pan. Heat the sauce up while occasionally stirring and then reduce to low heat.
  • Strain the whole-wheat spaghetti when finished cooking and add them to the pan. Mix everything.
  • Optional: Add some grated parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
