Baked Chicken Nuggets

These baked chicken nuggets are an easy way to make one of your favorite snacks at home! They are a lot healthier than the restaurant version, but just as tasty! Perfect for parties, lunch and dinner. They are also fantastic as a side for your favorite salad.

Ingredients

  • 1.3 lb chicken breast
  • 1 ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon paprika powder
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • olive oil spray extra virgin

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
  • Cut the chicken breast into medium-sized pieces.
  • Next, take two bowls. Beat the eggs in one bowl. Add the panko breadcrumbs, paprika powder, thyme, rosemary and salt to the other bowl.
  • Dip one chicken piece into the egg mixture. Then, put the chicken piece in the breadcrumb bowl to coat it evenly. Place it on a baking sheet. Repeat for all remaining chicken pieces.
  • Spray the chicken nuggets with the olive oil spray until they are coated evenly from all sides.
  • Bake for approx. 15 minutes in the oven. If you decided to make larger pieces, increase the time for a few minute. Check if the chicken is cooked through and enjoy!
