- 6 ounces spaghetti or another type of pasta (can be gluten-free)
- 1 ½ tablespoons butter
- 1 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 3 tablespoons white wine or vegetable stock
- pasta water as needed
- ½ lemon juiced and zested, more to taste
- 3 tablespoons parsley chopped
- salt and pepper
- parmesan cheese grated
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Then save some pasta water, drain and set aside.
Preheat the olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Then add the white wine, some pasta water, and lemon juice.
Add the pasta, parsley, and lemon zest to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Then toss until everything is combined.
Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
- If you love some spice, add red pepper flakes to the pasta. They go super well with the lemon garlic sauce!
- You can serve this dish with seared shrimp, a side salad, or roasted vegetables.
