This white bean and kale soup is healthy, warming, and incredibly flavorful!

First, chop some carrots, celery, onions, and garlic.

Next, preheat some olive oil in a pot. Then sauté the vegetables.

Add some vegetable broth and season with salt, pepper, red chili flakes, dried thyme, and ground cumin. Cover the pot and let the soup simmer for 15 minutes.

While the soup simmers, drain the white beans, chop the kale, and cut a lemon in half.

Now blend the soup partially with an immersion blender. Stir in the kale and lemon juice.
