Fajita Seasoning
- 1 ½ teaspoon chili powder Mexican spice blend, not ground chiles
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Chicken Fajitas
- 1 pound chicken cutlets or chicken breasts cut into half horizontally
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 bell peppers sliced, different colors are recommended
- ½ onion sliced
- ½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
For Serving (Optional)
- 8 small tortillas
- toppings guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo
Preheat your air fryer to 375 °F (190 °C).
Next, whisk together the fajita seasoning in a small bowl.

Now place the chicken cutlets in a mixing bowl. Add some olive oil and ½ or ¾ of the fajita seasoning. Then toss until the chicken cutlets are evenly covered. Place the chicken cutlets in the air fryer basket.

Add the bell pepper and onion to the same bowl. Add some olive oil and the remaining fajita seasoning. Toss until combined. Then add the vegetables to the air fryer basket without covering the chicken.

Air fry for 8-13 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the vegetables are tender. Remove the chicken cutlets and let them rest for a few minutes. Cut them into strips and toss them in the air fryer basket or a bowl with the vegetables.
Optional: Serve with tortillas and toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
